    Michael Johnston (Purdue University, West Lafayette, Indiana), for research on manuscript copies of the Middle English poem, “The Prick of Conscience.”

    T. Kimball Brooker/Caxton Club Scholarship, Rare Book School

    Tammy Clemons is an early career independent scholar, having received her PhD in Cultural Anthropology from the University of Kentucky in 2021. Already accomplished in visual anthropology and Appalachian studies, Tammy intends to use her Rare Book School training to “expand [her] potential as a scholar, teaching artist, zine-maker, and cultural organizer.”
