December 2008 Dinner Meeting - Revels & Auction!

Dust off your ABC for Book Collectors and bring your checkbook; it’s time for the Tenth Annual Live and Silent Auction.

Get your donations into Dan Crawford at the Newberry Library! Please note, for December 2008 only, the Caxton Dinner Meeting will be held on the second Wednesday of the month.

The December Revels will take place at the Newberry Library, 60 W. Walton Street. Dinner timing: spirits at 5 pm, dinner at 6 pm, talk at 7:30 pm. Price for dinner is $48. Reservations are needed by noon on December 3rd and can be made by calling 312-255-3710 or sending email to caxtonclub@newberry.org.

Information on parking at the Newberry: With a validation of the claim check with the Newberry security guard, pay $7 for 6 hours at 1025 North Clark, 100 West Chestnut (Chestnut & Clark) and 100 East Walton St. The Library’s lot is available to guests for evening parking, but the staff (who pay for their parking) do not begin leaving until between 5pm and 6pm, so there are no guarantees of spaces until they are vacated.
