6:30 pm: Open House and Reception at the Main Library

Saturday, October 7
9:30 am: Bus departs from Hilton Garden Inn
9:45 am: Guided tour of the Gwendolyn Brooks exhibit at the Rare Book and Manuscript Library
11:15 am: Krannert Art Museum - Guided tour by curator Maureen Warren of exhibit "Coveting Nature Art, Collecting and Natural History in Early Modern Europe"
1:30 pm: Tour the High-Density Storage Facility and the Preservation and Conservation Lab
3:45 pm: Joan Friedman, private collector and fellow Caxtonian, will open her home for a tour of her remarkable collection and a substantial catered buffet and reception.
7:30 pm: Bus returns to Hilton Garden Inn
