“A Funhouse Mirror - Reflections of Chicago History”

Caxtonian Edward C. Hirschland will present “A Funhouse
Mirror - Reflections of Chicago History.” Ed, who has been assembling books and other items of Chicagoana for 40 years, will tell the story of the city, illustrated by pictures of selected objects in his library. The collection was the subject of a feature article by Miles Harvey (author of  "The Island of Lost Maps" and "Painter in a Savage Land") in "CityTalk", a publication of WTTW, Chicago’s educational TV
network, several years ago.
